I Hate My Sinful Nature

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

-Romans 3:23

I hate my sinful nature, I really do.

As a believer, yes, of course, we should hate it, it's horrible!

It's just that... If people knew, that... I... I feel like I have voices inside my head, and they are screaming, "I hate this!!! Why do I keep on doing this!!!" and things like that, and it feels like I'm losing myself for a bit.

I can't wait for the second coming of the Lord, my Lord Yeshua Hamashiach, and for this old sinful nature of mine to be washed away and gone completely. Honestly, I can't wait for this day to come already.

It might sound crazy, I know... "hearing voices in my head" but it's the truth. And I hate so deeply and profoundly this fallen nature of mine, it's horrible beyond words.

Father God, keep and protect me from this horrible nature of mine. I love you and I belong to you. In Yeshua's mighty and beautiful name, I pray this, amen.
